-How could this happen to me?  Romans 6:4

Three Lessons From Peter's Story

  1. I have to admit that I am stuck.
    John 21:1-3, James 4:10
  2. Be open to God's voice
    John 21:4, Proverbs 14
  3. Yield to God's plan
    John 21:7-13, Jeremiah 29:11

Working definition of "unstuck": Moving forward in my life because I'm willing to give God complete control.

Whenever you get stuck in an area of your life, it is a sign that you've not given God complete control of your life.  Your say - why does God allow me to get stuck?  He allows you to get stuck because He wants you to know that's an area where He's not in control.

Memory verse: Romans 12:1-2. " And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."
