Introduction: Jesus came not only as the Word made flesh but also to replace the High Priest and to be the intermediary between God and man.

What Jesus is always doing:  This is a list for when you are feeling discouraged to remind yourself of what Jesus is always doing for you right now.

  1. He is a High Priest Forever.  Hebrews 7:24-25.  Jesus is praying for you right now!
  2. He is a Master Architect.  Matthew 16:17-19.  Jesus is building his church.  He builds his church by working in and through us.
  3. He is making personal appearances.  Acts 7:54-60
  4. Wonderful Counselor.  Hebrews 4:15-16.  Jesus can relate to the issues we face.  Jesus provides access to the Father.
  5. He is an Irrefutable Advocate.  He is an Attorney that cannot be argued down.  Every one of us face times of guilt.  1 John 1:7.  The devil wants to prosecute us, but Jesus defends us and the case is dismissed.
  6. Jesus is a Mansion Builder.  John 14:1-3.  The mansion is personally tailored just for you!
  7. He is the Ultimate Host.  He is preparing a table for us, and anticipating that day when we come together and drink the cup together again.
