Our Pastor
Joe Cummings is the founding pastor of Beach Vineyard Church, which he and his wife Lois planted in August of 1995. He previously ministered in Los Angeles, California, pastored in Colorado Springs, Colorado and Kansas City, Missouri. Joe has been with the Association of Vineyard Churches since 1987.
At the age of 19 Joe received Christ and felt the call of God into ministry. After studying with a layman's Bible institute for 8 years, he attended Pacific L.I.F.E. Bible College and graduated in 1984 with a B.A. in biblical languages. He then attended Fuller Theological Seminary School of World Mission 1984-1985.
Joe leads Beach Vineyard to be a church passionately committed to becoming mature followers of Jesus Christ. This is accomplished through sound Biblical teaching along with the enabling presence and power of the Holy Spirit.
He and his wife Lois have been married nearly 30 years and are the parents of four grown children, Daniel, Stacie, Jonathan and Andrew.
